Dr.N.Appa Rao has more than 25 years of experience in teaching. He is an expert in Industrial and Labour Economics. He did his Ph.D in Urban Economics. Presently 10 Ph.D scholars are working under his supervision. His wide range of publications include papers on population Studies, Migration and Poverty, and Fishery Economics in various national and international journals and participated in many national conferences. He held different academic positions including Chairman, BOS (H&SS) of the erstwhile JNTU and presently Head, Dept of H&SS (University college of Engineering), Chairman, BOS (H&SS) JNTUK, Kakinada.
